Pudina Pickle (mint pickle, pudina chutney or mint chutney) is a condiment much like pesto but with added zing from the combination of tamarind, garlic, chilies and fresh mint. Despite the odd flavor combinations pudina pickle has a rather peppery yet palatable taste that compliments nearly any curry dish or can be enjoyed solo – or as my father preferred - with a glass of warm sour porridge.
