Mince Spaghetti Recipe
by Food Like Amma, June 01, 2012
Although macaroni always had a place in Amma’s shopping list - it was not until the early nineteen nineties that she‘tentatively’ began cooking spaghetti. The first time I ever encountered spaghetti - was while reading The Magic Pasta Pot by Tomie dePaola. I must have been around 8 years old at the time - after reading the book I assumed spaghetti might have tasted like vermicelli - but it was only 2 or 3 years later that I got to taste spaghetti. Naturally Amma’s spaghetti was ‘curry pasta’.
This recipe is inspired by Amma’s curry pasta - a spicy - simple alternative to Bolognaise sauce-
